Polyglot
Netuno is polyglot at both the database level and the programming code level, but also at the operating system level.
With all this diversity, the options for where it can be used increase.
By supporting various databases, programming languages, and operating systems, it facilitates development by adapting to each situation while ensuring a cohesive environment for development work.
Database
It can be used to integrate several different types of databases and can even be developed with different programming languages in the same project.
Integrating different databases is quite common to perform data integration when querying or changing data in another system's database.

Netuno supports the following databases:
- H2 Database
- PostgreSQL
- MariaDB
- MySQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Oracle
Programming Languages
Supporting different programming languages may not seem very interesting in the sense of mixing programming languages, but it is possible and does not mean it should be done that way.
In practice, it is often complicated to carry out projects where there is a dominant technology limited to one programming language; therefore, one must find people exclusively skilled in that particular programming language.
With Netuno, we end up having a larger offering, where all the work is not wasted if it becomes necessary to use a new programming language resulting from a strategy change, a lack of skilled technicians, or to gain greater agility when developing something specific, among other situations that may make sense.
As a rule, this would be unthinkable because maintaining a system with several programming languages starts to become a concern, but since this is low-code, that concern becomes much less relevant, because:
- Programming languages end up being similar in terms of logic and algorithm.
- The programming language may be different, but Netuno's resources are the same and are used in the same way regardless of the language.
Thus, even if a technician is very accustomed to working with one programming language, nothing will prevent them from performing maintenance in another; if they need to extend their involvement much further or even redo it, they can choose to develop in their preferred language and integrate their development into the language already in use.

Netuno supports development in the following programming languages:
- Groovy
- Java
- JavaScript
- Kotlin
- Python
- Ruby
Operating Systems
By working with multiple operating systems and supporting environment configurations, Netuno ensures the correct operation of development work across the board and allows organizing them into development, test, quality, production, and other environments.
Changing the operating system or environment makes no difference to the correct operation of Netuno and applications.

The operating systems supported by Netuno are:
- Linux
- Mac OS X
- Windows
