Clone Page
What it is
Starting from an existing page, you can create a new one using the Clone option. In the clone form, you must specify:
- The Title and Link of the new page.
- Source version — from which version of the original page the content will be copied.
- Language — optionally different from the original page's language.
- Whether the new page should be published immediately.
When you confirm, CLUAR duplicates the entire component structure (Banner, Content, Listing, Slider, Feature, with their respective actions) from that version to the new page.
Purpose
This is how, in practice, a page "translation" is created: instead of building a new page from scratch, you choose the existing page in another language, clone it to the new language, and then adjust the texts. It is also useful for quickly creating similar pages within the same language (e.g., multiple campaign pages with the same structure).
Cloning duplicates the page's structure (the same components, in the same order), but it does not translate the text — each component's fields (Banner, Content, Listing, Slider, Feature) keep the original content, and you must open each one and translate it manually. Automatic content translation when cloning is already planned, but it has not yet been developed.
